Representational Art
I picked the painting "The Mill" by Jacob Remrandt for my representational art picture. The reason is because the definition of representational art according to our book is "Any work of art that seeks to resemble the world of natural apperance." This painting by Rembrandt shows a windmill on top of a small mountatin surrounded by water and what seems to be people working. The colors make it seem as if the painting is during the evening or early morning. I think this painting makes it look as natural as it possibly could and that is why I chose this piece of art work.
